LOS ANGELES — Congresswoman Luz Rivas (CA-29) is demanding accountability from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Todd Lyons after she was blocked from trying to get answers at the Adelanto Detention Center about the traumatic and chaotic transfer of Benjamin Guerrero-Cruz, an 18-year-old student at Reseda High School.

LOS ANGELES — Today, Congresswoman Luz Rivas (CA-29) introduced the Immigration Notification for Facility Oversight and Relocation Management (INFORM) Act to require Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to notify detainees’ immediate family when transferred between detention facilities.
