Art Competition

Introduction:

The Congressional Art Competition provides a unique opportunity for high school students in our district to showcase their artistic talents on a national stage. It is an honor to recognize the creativity and hard work of students while offering them a chance to have their art displayed in the U.S. Capitol tunnel, where thousands of visitors and Members of Congress will view it each year.

This competition is open to all high school students in California's 29th Congressional District (CA-29). The winning piece of art will not only be showcased in a highly visible space, but the artist and a family member will be invited to a special ceremony in Washington D.C.
